Party Etiquette

If you’ve ever been to a party where it’s been all about the host, then you know things can get REAL boring, REAL fast. That being said, here are a few party etiquette tips you should follow when planning your next apartment warming bash!
Food & Beverage – While not always necessary, it’s a nice gesture to provide a light a snack for your friends, and if it’s a 21+ crowd a community bottle of alcohol to get the party started. Also, make sure if it is BYOB that you make room in the fridge for people to keep their OB cold.- TV – What’s the point of having a 42in. flat screen if you’re not going to use it? The point here, however, is not to OVERUSE it. With background music, there’s no need for the sound to be used on the TV, so many shows that are often terrible even with sound (**Cough** One Tree Hill **Cough**) should never make it on the screen. This usually reserves the TV for sports, being that you are still able to understand what is happening without the sound, so find a good game and you’re ready to go.
