Jacksonville Going Green
Jacksonville is going green. And by going green I mean planting more trees!
A local nonprofit organization is implementing a “Johnny Appleseed Project” by planting and maintaining trees at 5 local elementary schools. More than 600 trees were planted last week on Arbor Day.

Loud Commercials

Have you ever noticed that the commercials are louder than the program you are watching? It isn’t just your imagination. Some commercials are actually louder and the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act (CALM) is trying to change that. CALM is currently being discussed by Congress to give the Federal Communication Commission power to prohibit the commercials from being louder than your regularly scheduled programming.
