The 2010 NFL preseason has kicked off and the Jaguars are ready to go to work. The Jags returning players and new talent looked strong in their opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and they’re looking to continue to improve team chemistry during these preliminary matches. Led by quarterback David Garrard, the Jaguars will play in 3 more games this preseason, so don’t miss you chance to get a glimpse of the team before their first official home game against the Denver Broncos on September 12th!

Quick Draw

After the most anticipated match of group play in the 2010 FIFA World Cup ended this past Saturday, the United States and England found themselves at a 1-1 draw. Not the prettiest game for either team, as defensive mistake led to goals for each, but it’s a positive start for both campaigns. 
The U.S. fought back after a shaky start, conceding a goal in first 5 minutes of the match, to tie the game late in the first half when a shot from Clint Dempsey trickled into the back of the net. The second half saw chances for both teams end unsuccessfully as both teams’ keepers made key saves.
Now that the nerves are out, the U.S. and England must put together strong performances to ensure they’ll moving forward and have a chance to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
